Telecommunications & University Education

The word “telecommunications” refers to those organizations (both commercial and noncommercial) involved in the management, distribution and production of information and entertainment via communication technology and networked systems. It is derived from the Greek word “tele” which means far away or transmission over a long distance. The prefix tele can be found in such words as telephone, television, teleconferencing etc. ITERA is dedicated toward the advancement of telecommunications education.


Telecommunications & Information Management (TIM)

The programmatic focus is on the management, regulation, and application of information network technology. Telecommunications networking emphasizes the technology and electronic pathways that makes business and professional communication possible. Students are trained in a variety of technical management subdisciplines, including wired and wireless telephony, local and wide area networking, fiber optic systems, the Internet, satellite communications etc.

Telecommunications & Media Management (TMM)
