Ball State Team Wins 2015 Case Study Competition

ITERA is pleased to announce that the Ball State University team of Jonathan Baney, Reid Berryman, Gandzhina Dustova, Douglas Gehring, and Thomas Knuckles were the winners of this year’s ITERA Case Study competition. The competition is the culmination of several months of effort by student participants who are presented with a telecommunications case that requires them to combine their technical knowledge and problem-solving expertise to craft a solution to meet a fictional client’s needs. The two-part competition requires students to prepare a written response to the case. The written responses are evaluated blindly by a set of industry and professional judges. The best written response teams are then invited to present to a second panel of industry and professional judges.

Other finalists in the completion were:
• James Madison University – Quinn Bonta, Peter Episcopo, Rachel Malkin, and Steele Shemeld
• Ohio University – Kyle Lauser, Steven McCullough

ITERA thanks the following companies and individuals that volunteered their time to be judges for the competition:
• Henry Bromley – Novetta Solutions
• Tom Case – Georgia Southern University
• Thomas Conway – US Army (retired)
• David Duggin – Readi Systems Inc
• Saša Erić – Deloitte Consulting, LLP
• Jay Flynn Business – Electronic Systems, Inc
• Jack Hall – Florida Lambda Rail
• Clayton Lockhart – James Madison University
